Dedicated Master Teachers Make the Difference

Horizons at LCDS teachers are professional, highly qualified teachers from both public and private schools, including School District of Lancaster, Columbia, Hempfield, Head Start, and LCDS. Their approach to hands-on, project-based learning keeps kids excited to come to Horizons each day.

Small class sizes foster close relationships and targeted instruction. Supporting each lead teacher is an assistant teacher, typically a college student, as well as high school-age volunteers. Meeting with each student regularly is a dedicated reading specialist who tailors individual skills instruction to each student’s needs.
