Horizons at LCDS teachers are professional, highly qualified teachers from both public and private schools. Their approach to hands-on, project-based learning keeps kids excited to come to Horizons each day.
Small class sizes foster close relationships and targeted instruction. Supporting each lead teacher is an assistant teacher, typically a college student, as well as high school-age volunteers. Meeting with each student regularly is a dedicated reading specialist who tailors individual skills instruction to each student’s needs.
